Kristin comes to real estate from a background in education and the visual arts. She holds a BA in Education from the University of Iowa and a Master of Fine Arts in Fiber Art from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, and has exhibited and published extensively. As a professor of Fiber Arts, she directed the graduate and undergraduate fiber arts program at Syracuse University in New York. She was also a professor at the University of the Andes in Bogota, Colombia, where she taught textile design in Spanish, while running a successful weaving studio in addition to publishing and exhibiting her art.

In New Mexico, Kristin has worked for a number of years both in Chimayo and at the Museums of New Mexico in Santa Fe. Her work in Chimayo led to her being invited to conduct student tours there, and her work at the museums has helped Kristin develop an extensive knowledge of Santa Fe, its history, its people and its architecture.

Kristin brings to real estate a love of communicating with people, a deep interest in and knowledge of the area, and proven expertise and effectiveness in helping clients realize their real estate goals. This combination of assets has made her an award winning Realtor each year she has practiced real estate.
